WATERLOO CEMC CONTESTS 12.12.2022

The Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing (CEMC), which is housed within the University of Waterloo, has been working to inspire students to reach further with mathematics and computer science for more than fifty years. The CEMC is committed to giving students the tools they need to build their confidence and grow their problem-solving skills. Every year, more than 265,000 students in over 80 countries register for 15 contests, which are prepared by 40 faculty members working at the University of Waterloo, Faculty of Mathematics. Our 9th graders Ayşe Kurt, Elif Köklüce and Ecrin Çakaloğlu, and 10th graders Yağızhan Metin, Poyraz Aksoy, Demir Oray, Tan Coşan, Yiğit Emre Aslan, Duru Bennu Bağder and Bartu Aslan, who attend our ASP called “Maths and Contests”, succeeded in the elimination test on December 6th and got the chance to participate in the contests on February 23rd.
