VISIT TO IZMIR METEOROLOGY REGIONAL OFFICE 16.03.2023

As part of our “How the World Works" unit, the 1st grade students read books and carried out experiments. They then went on a trip to the “İzmir Meteoroloji 2. Bölge Müdürlüğü" in order to make more observations and inquiries based on the main idea of “Changing weather conditions affect our lives”. On the trip they looked at how weather forecasts are made and they examined satellite photos. The students also sent a weather balloon into the sky to make a weather forecast. After the trip, our students worked on the question “How does the change in weather conditions affect our lives?”
