THE DUKE OF EDINBURGH’S INTERNATIONAL AWARD PROGRAM 16.12.2019

86 students from Prep, Grade 9, 10 and 11 have started their studies in different categories in line with the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Program. The DoE program has been implemented in our school with three award leaders and one supervisor since March 11th, 2019, when IEK High School signed the sub-licence agreement with the National Office of the Duke of Edingburgh’s International Award. The DoE program is a personal challenge, which allows students improve themselves by working in different sections including Voluntary Service, Skills, Physical Recreation, Adventurous Journey and Residential Project. To complete the program, our students will participate in various activities in and out of school and endeavour to achieve the goals they set. This program will also help our students gain experience in CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service), which will be covered in the Diploma Program starting from Grade 11. We are looking forward to witnessing our students’ achievements in the program!
