TEACHERS’ DAY CELEBRATION 24.11.2017

As IEK administrators, teachers and personnel, we celebrated the Teachers’ Day together. Our teachers’ day dinner, which was participated by all teachers from ELC to HS, was held in Mövenpick Hotel. The opening speech was given by the Head of School Canan Harmancı. She indicated that the teachers, who touch children’s lives and fulfill this very blessed duty, are self-sacrificing individuals that strive to “raise modern people”, “contribute to the society” and “structure the future of their country”. She also expressed that Atatürk will be our guide while performing this tough job. Thanking the Işıkkent teachers who devotedly work for their students, Mrs. Harmancı and school principals presented the 5th, 10th and 15th year anniversary plaques.
