STUDENTS HONOURED IŞIKKENT IN MATHEMATICS 10.06.2016

This year the 14th Fryer, Galois and Hypatia Mathematics exams held in our school on April 13th. Grade 9, 10 and 11 students were asked level and skill appropriate mathematics questions which required complete solutions and explanations using mathematical terminology. The world-wide average of the FGH exams were announced respectively as 25.4, 22.6 and 26.4 (out of 40 points). In total 19 students represented our school in the exams. 3 students from Grade 9, 6 students from Grade 10 and 4 students from Grade 11 were graded above the average and succeeded in the exams. Dilay Aslan (Grade 9), Doğa Melisa Demirer (Grade 10) and Hüsnü Lale (Grade 11) got the highest marks and became the highest ranked students at school. Students were awarded with medals and certificates of merit. In addition, Hüsnü Lale was qualified to be ranked among the Honour List among the students world-wide due to his score, which was above the exam criteria. We celebrate him for his achievement.
