SAFE INTERNET USE 21.02.2018

A student training on “Safe Internet Use” was held by the HS Guidance & Counselling Office during the assembly hour on Wednesday, February 21st. The guest speaker of the training was the IT System Executive Beyhan Payaslı. Beyhan Payaslı told about the cyber threats and the precautions we can take individually to protect ourselves from those threats under the title “10 Golden Rules for My Safety”. After emphasising that everything we do on social media leaves a digital trace, he explained that malevolent people may access personal information by tracing our identity numbers, addresses and phone numbers. During the training, where some examples of legal cases involving social media issues were given, the students were informed about the attitudes and behavior that are deemed crimes as well as the risks of the digital world, which were explained via today’s most current applications.
