MAKING US PROUD IN MATHEMATICS 22.05.2017

According to the legal results of the Fryer/Galois /Hypatia examinations held by the Waterloo University of Canada, which was carried out on Thursday, April 13; Grade 9 student, Poyraz Yapalı, got on the world honor roll again by taking 35 points out of 40 points in the Fryer exam in which 1.606 students from outside Canada participated. 9 out of 13 IEK Grade 9 students, 5 out of 7 IEK Grade 10 students, 5 out of 10 IEK Grade 11 students, and 1 out of 2 IEK Grade 12 students took scores well above the world average from Fryer (26/40), Galois (23/40), Hypatia (22/40) and Euclide (51/100) tests respectively. Grade 9 student Poyraz Yapalı, Grade 10 student Dilay Aslan and Grade 11 student Melissa Emerson received medals as the top scoring students at school. Other students were awarded “outstanding achievement” or “participation certificates” depending on their scores. Heartfelt congratulations to our students and their mathematics teachers.
