LETTERS FOR FRIENDS IN BAHAMA 15.10.2019

Our 4th grade students wrote letters to students who experienced Hurricane Dorian in the Bahamas in English lessons led by Mr. Coate, Mrs. Yalcin and Mrs. Tekin. In their letters, they tried to explain to them that they understood the difficulty of the situation they are in, and that on the other side of the world, people who never knew them were thinking about them. They also asked what areas they needed help in. Ms. Erin Cordes, PYP Coordinator of the school where we sent the letters, said in her reply that he would make sure that the children in all Bahamas read the letters. She also thanked our students for their sensitivity. Now our students are looking forward to the day they will receive a reply to their letters. We are proud to see that the IB Learning Profile Attributes that we aim to establish are shown by our students. We would like to thank our students and teachers
