ISMET EGE TONBUL VISITED OUR LESSON ON THE WORLD THEATRE DAY 26.03.2021

As part of the World Theatre Day activities, Ismet Ege Tonbul visited the lesson of our Grade 1 students. Ismet Ege Tonbul, who graduated from the Department of Radio, Television and Film at Marmara University, got his master’s degree from the Department of Acting at Bahcesehir University and appeared in many theatres, series and movies, explained what theatre is and what to do to be an actor. Our students participated in three inquiry-based activities with their guest. First, they worked on the requirements of a theatre through drama; then, they shared their opinions while playing a card game; and finally, they expressed themselves by answering the question, “If theatre was an emoji, which emoji would it be?”. We thank our guest a lot for this fun visit and are looking forward to meeting him face to face at school.
