FIRST PLACE IN TURKEY AND TWELFTH PLACE IN THE WORLD 17.03.2023

86 of our Grade 9, 10 and 11 students attended the “Mathletics 2023”, which was held with the participation of 9000 schools from 160 countries, as part of World Maths Day activities on March 8-9. 40 of our students successfully represented our school by completing all stages of the competition and placing 1st in Turkey and 12th in the world with the scores they got based on their ages. Melis Akbaş, Tuna Koçyiğit, Batuhan Köylü, Kaan Okumuş, Ela Selin Akgün, Elif Köklüce, Sarp Uçar, Ceren Efeoğlu, Yağızhan Metin, Cem Akdurak and Bartu Aslan won bronze certificates as a result of their success in the competition. Ela Selin Akgün placed 4th in our school, 5th in Turkey, and 93rd in the world; Sefa Mızrakçı placed 3rd in our school, 4th in Turkey, and 67th in the world; Bartu Aslan placed 2nd in our school, 3rd in Turkey, and 54th in the world. Yağızhan Metin placed first in both our school and Turkey, and 24th in the world with a score of 768.
