A LITTLE JOURNEY TO THE PAST 15.12.2017

Our Turkish and English departments organised a trip to Izmir Joy & Cartoon Museum, Izmir Press Museum and the Aya Vukla Church in order to help Prep students learn about the historical, cultural and social aspects of our city and gain awareness about its importance through real life experiences. Our students made a journey to the past and observed how the press and cartoons evolved in time. They also saw the belongings and works of famous journalists and cartoonists, and realized the connections between the recent history and the present. They witnessed how human beings and their works differ with a change in time and place.
