108TH ANNIVERSARY OF ÇANAKKALE VICTORY 18.03.2023

The epic of Çanakkale, which shows the resurrection of the Turkish nation in Çanakkale, was written with our soldiers’ blood, which gave our flag its color. We commemorate Mustafa Kemal Atatürk as well as the Turkish soldiers, the fearless Anatolian youth and women, the 15-year-olds who dreamed of going to school but instead went to war, and all our martyrs who died for the sake of the country, with respect and gratitude since they proved to us how valuable independence is by writing this epic 108 years ago. Our 7th graders participated in a school trip, which was organized with the theme of “Understanding Çanakkale”, and realized the price of independence, the power of perseverance, the importance of sacrifice, and the hope in despair on our motherland. Then, they got inspired by these deep feelings and gave very important messages to humanity in the "Çanakkale Martyrs’ Commemoration Program". They reminded us of Atatürk’s words, “War is murder unless it is necessary and vital and the life of the nation is in danger.”, and wished that the wars in the world would end and that all children would live in peace.
