WE PARTICIPATED IN THE 21ST TURKEY PHILOSOPHY COMPETITION 07.12.2016

We attended the 21st Turkey Philosophy Competition held on December 4th, 2016 in 10 different areas by the Turkish Philosophy Association (TFK). In the organisation held by the “Philosophy for Children” unit of the TFK, our Grade 12 student Janset Nas Kılınç represented our school successfully. Passages written by 3 different philosophers were given to the students in the competition. The students wrote philosophic essays on one of the given texts. At the end of the 4-hour competition, participant students and philosophy teachers came together and debated about the today’s philosophy, the place and importance of philosophy in Turkey and around the world.
