WE HOSTED PROF. DR. ERTUGRUL SABAH IN OUR SCHOOL 10.10.2023

Our 4th graders worked on the central idea of "Individuals who know themselves and make the right choices form a healthy society" as part of their “Who We Are” unit. While doing research on those who make a difference in society, they met Professor Dr. Ertuğrul Sabah. Then, they invited the doctor, who greatly impressed our students with his works, to the school. Professor Dr. Ertuğrul Sabah, who volunteers for the dental health of individuals with intellectual disabilities in many parts of Turkey, talked with our students about volunteering, his purpose, what he did, and the effects of this choice on himself and his environment. Our students had the opportunity to ask Professor Dr. Ertuğrul Sabah the questions they were curious about. They realized once again that they are responsible for society with every choice they make and enriched their knowledge from class with what they learned from their guest.
