TWO-DAY TRIP TO LEARN HISTORY AND CULTURE 15.10.2016

Our MS students continued to explore Anatolia. Grade 5 students explored Afrodisias, the most significant place for the Archeology world, with the photographs taken by the photo artist Ara Güler, Prof. Dr. Nihat Erim’s 35-year of service and the financial support provided by the National Geographics. During the two-day trip, our students visited Hierapolis, the evidence of love of II. Eumenes, the King of Pergamon, for his wife; and Pamukkale, the only place in the world that is located on the hills shaped by the natural springs. They tasted the local food, made observations and understood the importance of protecting cultural and natural values once again. After gaining a lot of information about our history and culture, they went to play bowling and had fun in the evening.
