THEY PRESENTED WHAT THEY LEARNED IN THE ASSEMBLY 19.01.2023

In our third unit, "How We Organize Ourselves," our students worked on the cantral idea that "Our needs enable us to form diverse communities." They reinforced the concept of community through interviews with our school community members and their families. With their "Communities I Belong To" activities, they determined which communities they belonged to, their roles in those communities and the different professions in the society based on this. They discussed the characteristics of the profession with a person chosen from their family or close circle. With this study, they developed the idea that we have responsibilities to the society we are in. They realized the responsibilities they fulfilled and didn't fulfill at home and at school. They stepped in to improve responsibilities they hadn't fulfilled. They shared this whole process with all their primary school friends with their presentations on Thursday, January 19 in MIKS. This sharing was very enjoyable for both them and the listeners.
