THEY MET WITH FATİH POLAT 05.05.2022

Our Grade 1 students hosted Fatih Polat from the "Sea Turtles Research, Rescue and Rehabilitation Center" in their classes. Fatih Bey shared with our students their work as DEKAMER. DEKAMER aims to raise awareness by conducting detailed scientific studies on sea turtle breeding beaches, providing care and treatment for injured sea turtles, and returning them to their natural habitats. They produce several projects on these issues. With this presentation, our students observed concretely how our actions affect animals and their habitats and learned what might be our responsibilities. They asked questions to Mr. Polat about what they were wondering. They were excited to find the opportunity to go to this center with their families.
