"THE PRESS IS THE COMMON VOICE OF A NATION" DEBATE FOR THE 100TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE REPUBLIC 18.10.2023

Our 7th grade students discussed the freedom of the press in their Social Studies debate as part of the activities organized for the 100th anniversary of our Republic. Our students emphasized the limits of freedom and the importance of accurate journalism by evaluating the works of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who said "The press is the common voice of a nation", and the contributions of these works to the present day.
