THE HEART OF ELC: THE PIAZZA 15.10.2025

In our Early Learning Center, inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, the Piazza is truly the heart of our classrooms. It is a space where our entire learning community comes together—where children strengthen their social connections and engage in rich, sensory, and experiential learning. We believe that every child thinks differently, explores the world in unique ways, and expresses themselves through many languages. As the Reggio Emilia philosophy reminds us, every child has “a hundred languages.” With this belief, our Art and Piazza experiences offer various discovery centers such as the Natural Materials Center, Observational Drawing Center, Remida Center, Digital Discovery Center, Light and Shadow Center, and Repair & Restoration Center. In these spaces, we explore different materials together with our children—reusing, recycling, experimenting, inquiring, and creating. Through our inquiries guided by “Big Questions,” we support children in making their thinking visible, sharing their ideas, and expressing their creativity in meaningful ways.
