SUCCESS IN PHILOSOPHICAL ESSAY WRITING 24.10.2022

Grade 11 student Cansu Makbule Küçük represented our school successfully in the Baltic Sea Philosophical Essay Writing Competition, which was held on October 18 by the Finnish UNESCO Associated Schools Network, the Finnish Association for Teachers of Philosophy, and the Philosophical Society of Finland. The competition, which was first organized in Finland in 2003, has turned into a step to get prepared for the International Philosophy Olympiad in time and has systematically expanded beyond Finland, Sweden, Norway, and Denmark. Turkey has also been attending the competition since 2011. We hope that these kinds of events, where we win awards every year, spread more in our country.
