SINAN MEYDAN, FIRST GUEST OF OUR “INSPIRING MINDS” SERIES, REMINDS OUR STUDENTS OF THE TRUE MEANING OF THE REPUBLIC 17.11.2025

Historian and author Sinan Meydan, the first guest of our “Inspiring Minds” seminar series, met with our middle and high school students to revive the spirit of hope in Atatürk’s visionary leadership and the historical journey of the Republic—his greatest legacy to us. From industry to science, from art to education; from language and culture reforms to societal transformations, he conveyed Atatürk’s revolutions through an inspiring narrative that teaches us how to look at the past from today’s perspective. Through Meydan’s engaging presentation enriched with examples, our students deeply felt why the Republic is not merely a form of governance, but a mindset, a freedom, and an ideal of modernisation. We extend our gratitude to Sinan Meydan for this meaningful session, which sparked new questions in young minds and reminded us of Atatürk’s vision of raising generations who are “free in thought, free in conscience, and free in knowledge.” We firmly believe that our students—the architects of the future—will continue to carry the light of the Republic with pride and awareness.
