SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY UNDER SCOPE 15.03.2024

Our 4th graders studied the scientific method, the development of technology, and the impact of science on our lives while covering the unit "How the World Works". After learning about the characteristics of scientists and the steps to be followed to reach scientific knowledge, they realized that the objects also change as a result of the development of technology. They had the opportunity to question the impact of science on their lives by inquiring into "what would happen if there was no science". At the end of the unit, they organized an assembly where they shared their knowledge and introduced their inventions to the school community. In this assembly, they realized that the products will diversify as their needs change and enriched their experiences by sharing their classroom activities with each other.
