RAISING AWARENESS 09.06.2017

Grade 1 students hosted Hatice Önder as a guest in line with their unit “How We Express Ourselves”. Önder talked about using which ways visually impaired people express themselves. Önder introduced the Braille alphabet and how to type in Braille to the students with the typing machine she brought along. Students typed their names using the machine. Önder also shared some of the works of a visually disabled painter. Students enjoyed this unique experience very much. We are proud of the caring approach our students displayed.
