PRACTISING YOGA AND HEALTHY EATING 27.09.2022

As part of the unit “Who We Are”, our 2nd graders covered the first line of inquiry entitled “Healthy Body and Mind” and started the week by doing yoga. They experienced and inquired into how yoga affects mental health by engaging in nature. Also, they observed the contributions of yoga to the balance of our bodies. At the end of this activity, they read the book entitled “Healthy Eating” and learned about food groups. Finally, they created a healthy and balanced lunch menu.
