PARENT EFFECTIVENESS TRAINING 06.12.2017

As announced previously, we started our Parent Effectiveness Training (PET) series on Wednesday with a group of 20 parents. The training is given by school counsellor Gülin Memiş who is certified PET Trainer. The series is composed of four training sessions and the ultimate goal is to show parents ways of effective communication and conflict-resolution. Other important skills covered in the training are active listening, empathy and acting “with” the child not against him. We hope parents will find the training productive and useful.
