PARENT EFFECTIVENESS TRAINING COMPLETED 16.03.2017

March 15, Wednesday was the last session of the Parent Effectiveness Training (PET) which started on February 22 and continued for four weeks. The training was given by school counsellors Ms. Gülin Memiş and Ms. Hülya Üstel Eleviş who are certified PET trainers. The participating parents explored the theory and practices of many communication skills such as active listening, conflict resolution which help build a better parent-child relationship. After the final session the 24 parents who attended the seminar received their certificates and had a small party. We hope the training will help parents use their new skills to overcome any conflicts with their children.
