MUN CLUB MADE US PROUD 07.12.2016

Model United Nations (MUN) meeting was held between November 27-30 in Üsküdar American High School. Işıkkent MUN Club participated in the Turkish International Model United Nations (TIMUN) Conference to discuss global problems. Among 474 participants from 46 schools, Işıkkent MUN Club represented the Egypt delegation, who is a member of the Security Council. Grade 12 student Arda Serter, picked among the applications to the conference committee, chaired the GA2 –Social & Humanitarian Committee. Furthermore, Grade 11 students Ege Ergür and Efe Ergür were elected as adjudicators for the International Court of Justice by the TIMUN organisation. Our students made us proud by representing our school in this important platform that hosts many distinguished national and international schools.
