MOVING UP TO HIGH SCHOOL 16.06.2023

Our Grade 8 students had the opportunity to explore Paulo Coelho's novel "The Archer's Way" in their Turkish lessons this year. Through this exploration, they developed their skills in analysis, text production, and presentation, and finally prepared the "Transition to High School Ceremony" text, drawing inspiration from this book and designing stage decorations. They realized that the teachings in "The Archer's Way" can be applied to every aspect of life. As the famous character Tetsuya in the book says, "Each arrow's flight is different. If you shoot a thousand arrows, each one will show you a different path." They understood the value of passion, perseverance, and never giving up in order to reach their goals. As a result, they proudly performed the text they created by combining their individual experiences from their middle school years with the insights they gained from the book. We wish our children, who have grown before our eyes, a successful and fulfilling high school life.
