MENTAL HEALTH WITH YOGA 01.10.2021

Our 2nd graders first studied the concept of balance based on the central idea that "Our choices affect our well-being physically and mentally" within the framework of "Who We Are Unit". They experienced the importance of being balanced and that everything in life has to be in a balance. Then they inquired into the question of "Healthy &balanced body and mind". On Friday, October 1st, they started the day doing yoga for a healthy mind. Our students, who had a pleasant morning in our big garden, then researched and experienced what to do for a healthy mind in their classrooms. We would like to thank our 1st grade English teacher Gökşen Akyol Kizilkaya for leading the yoga activity.
