LIFE AT THE BUS STATION 13.06.2025

The students of Işıkkent Theater Club presented the play “Otogargara,” written by Yılmaz Erdoğan and directed by Onur Atacan, offering the audience an evening filled with laughter and thought-provoking moments! This tragicomic production, which tells the intersecting stories of people embarking on intercity journeys at the bus station, touched not only those who frequent the station but also the lives of those living in the surrounding area, offering the audience a broad panorama of life. Assistant director Ceren Efeoğlu, dance choreographers Leyla Ayaz and Arya Varol, responsible teacher Meral Özer Sevindik, and poster designer Selim Önal all left their mark on every detail of the play. On the evening of June 12, at the Mediha İçel Conference Hall, the young actors who took the stage not only portrayed their roles but also poured their hearts into their performances. Each of them showed us how vibrant a bus station can truly be! Congratulations to the young theater artists of Işıkkent! We applaud you and take pride in your hard work!
