ISIKKENT INTERACT CLUB MADE A JOURNEY INTO HISTORY AT YEŞİLOVA MOUND 15.04.2025

Işıkkent Interact Club organized a meaningful trip to Yeşilova Mound, one of the oldest settlements in Izmir. This archaeological site sheds light on the past and raises historical awareness for students with its history dating back 8500 years. By examining the excavation site and the artifacts found in the mound, we learned about the first settled life in human history. In addition, we had a pleasant and instructive day by simulating the daily life of prehistoric times in the interactive experience areas. Thanks to this trip, we got to know our cultural heritage closely and reinforced our awareness of social responsibility. As Işıkkent Interact Club, we will continue to protect history and pass on such values to future generations!
