IEK STUDENTS ENCHANTED THE AUDIENCE WITH THEIR 23RD OF APRIL CONCERT 21.04.2017

The 23rd of April concert, which has been organised with the cooperation of IEK students and the Izmir State Symphony Orchestra, gained great appreciation from the audience.

While the Honorary Board Member of the Çimentaş Education and Health Foundation Öner Akgerman gave the opening speech, Vice President Duran Kaya awarded the IEK students with a plaque on behalf of the Izmir State Symphony Orchestra.

In the 7th traditional 23rd of April concert, 104 IEK students from Primary School and Middle School took the stage with the Izmir State Symphony Orchestra musicians under the leadership of the Orchestra Conductor Cemi’i Can Deliorman. During the concert, in which the songs composed by Tolga Taviş were sung, IEK HS students Semih Kızılelma, Ege Sanlı and Cavit Can İşgören performed folk dance (efe) while Serra Umur performed as the soloist. With this great concert, the IEK students enthralled their audience and received a standing ovation that lasted for minutes.
