HAPPY REPUBLIC DAY 28.10.2020

October 29th is the anniversary of a new beginning, a revolution and a miracle. It is the announcement of the battles Anatolian people fought under the leadership of Ataturk to the whole world. It is the meeting of our nation with the global values such as democracy, equality, fundamental rights and freedoms. As Ataturk stated, the most significant power that will make the Republic of Turkey live forever is us. We are aware that the only way to achieve the aims set by Mustafa Kemal Ataturk is to keep the Republic alive, and we know that this consciousness should be transferred sensitively to the next generations. It is our first duty to protect the Republic, which was mentioned as “my biggest work” by the Great Leader Ataturk and established at the cost of the lives of the honorable Turkish nation, as the Republic is the guarantee of the indivisible unity of Turkey. Therefore, today is a festival for us all. We believe that our Republic, which has been shining and illuminating the future of our nation for the last 97 years, will last forever. Happy Republic Day!
