May 19th is the day when a collapsed and fallen nation rose from its ashes and took its first step towards the struggle of independence. This day when the foundation of the Republic of Turkey was laid and the fire of freedom was lit, is a milestone for Turkish nation. We are here to live, celebrate and remind this important day, regardless of how tough the conditions are. No matter how many years have passed since our Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk addressed to the youth, we continue following his footsteps by accepting his words as a guide and his principles as essential components of our lives.
