FIRST SWIMMING RACES 30.05.2022

9 IEK swimmers participated in the category of “Junior B” of the Interschools Swimming Races, which were organized by the Ministry of Education at Katip Çelebi University, and represented our school successfully in terms of their performance and behavior. Our girls’ team placed 3rd and our boys’ team placed 2nd in Izmir in the 4x50m free relay races. Also, Muhsin Demir Soylu placed 3rd in Izmir in the 100m freestyle swimming and 2nd in Izmir in the 50m breaststroke swimming while Arya Kocabıyık placed 4th in Izmir in the 100m freestyle swimming during individual races. With their total scores, our girls’ team won the 3rd-place trophy while our boys’ team won the 4th-place trophy in the races. Congratulations to all swimmers and teachers, and thanks to all parents who did not leave our junior swimmers alone during the races.
