FAMILY BUSINESS NETWORK NEXT GENERATION LOMBARD ODIER AWARD 01.11.2018

Our 2010 graduate Selin Yigitbaşı won the FBN Next Generation Lombard Odier Award with her project “Goodsted”. The FBN NxG Lombard Odier Award was created in 2009 to celebrate and support outstanding intrapreneurial and entrepreneurial projects initiated by the next generation of family business owners. This year’s awards were announced at the FBN 29th Global Summit in Venice and Selin Yigitbaşı won the FBN Next Generation Award with her project “Goodsted”. After stating that she set off with the aim of increasing community collaboration for sustainable development, Selin said: “When I first started to work on Goodsted at the beginning of 2018, I had a dream to support the UN Sustainable Development Goals for 2030. More companies and individuals should support social projects for sustainable development. Many people and institutions cannot access the appropriate project even if they want to. When they do, they cannot track the results of their voluntary work, collect feedback and assess the effects easily. Goodsted will allow companies, individuals and young people, who are looking to develop new skills, to support and contribute to many social projects carried out in different parts of the world.” Congratulations to Selin and wish her a continued success.
