Distinguished Educators,

As a foundation school that aims at providing the best education our children deserve as well as equipping them for the future, it is very important for us to collaborate with the educators.

We cannot prepare our children for the future unless we closely follow recent developments. The interest and participation of educators in the conferences we host every year is an indicator of how each and every one of us is doing the best we can to achieve this goal.

This year, we are holding our 14th Handan Oktar Early Childhood and Primary Years Conference with the aim of passing on international developments in the field of education to the teachers, who play a key role in “early childhood and primary years education”, and helping them experience creative and innovative education models through practice.

This year, as every year, we are very excited to bring you together with very distinguished speakers. ANNALISA RAINIERI and PAOLA STROZZI , our guest speakers from Italy, will share their knowledge and experiences with us and give examples of different practices around the world during the conference entitled “Documentation: a value and strategy of listening and design within the Reggio Emilia Approach”.

We hope that this conference, which brings teachers from different cities and schools together to exchange knowledge and experiences, will contribute to the improvement of quality education. We will be glad to see the educators and students from the Faculty of Education, who will be the teachers of the future, in the 14th Handan Oktar Early Childhood and Primary Years Conference on March 23, 2024.

Sincerely,

Dr. Tufan Çapar
Head of School
