DISCOVERING BOOKS AND CONTRIBUTING TO SOCIAL SOLIDARITY AT IZMIR BOOK FAIR 22.04.2024

Our 9th grade and prep students visited Izmir Book Fair at Kulturpark as part of their Turkish Language and Literature lesson and aimed to do community service while participating in the trips planned for this year. Remembering the pain caused by the earthquake in February, our students collected reading and coloring books and stationery for our brothers and sisters in the earthquake zone. In addition to the books they wanted to read themselves, our students also bought books, stationery, and toys for their brothers and sisters in the earthquake zone and wrote small notes on the materials they collected and bought. With this activity, our students contributed to social solidarity as well as their personal development.
