DESTINATION IMAGINATION TOURNAMENT 10.03.2017

The Destination Imagination Turkey National Tournament (DAT) was held in Kuşadası over this past weekend (March 10-12). More than 2000 students in over 250 teams from all over Turkey attended. Eight teams from Işıkkent Primary and Middle school competed. Every team spent weeks of hard work preparing for the tournament, and we are proud to announce that all of our teams performed extremely well in their categories. Three teams from Işıkkent were placed in the top three of their categories: middle school team ‘DI-holics’ received 2nd place in the Middle level Engineering category, middle school team ‘Mission to Mars’ received 3rd place in the Elementary level Engineering category, and primary school team ‘Code Busters’ took 3rd place in the Elementary level Scientific category. The Middle School team DI-holics will represent Işıkkent and Turkey at the DI Global Tournament held this May.
