CULTURE FESTIVAL 15.12.2023

As 4th graders, we learned about ancient civilizations, our national cultural elements and examples from world cultures in our unit "The Space and Time We Are In". After examining examples from world cultures, we invited the Embassy of Malaysia to our school. We learned about the cultural elements of Malaysia from the representatives from the Embassy of Malaysia. We realized the similarities and differences between cultures. We had the opportunity to ask our questions to the representatives from the Embassy of Malaysia. As an action of our unit, we organized a Culture Festival where we shared what we learned with the school community. In our festival, we introduced the cultural elements of our own family. We learned about many cultures and realized the importance of cultural diversity. We enriched the work we did in the classroom throughout the unit with what we learned from our guests and each other.
