CREATIVITY OF OUR THIRD GRADERS: DESIGNING HOUSES IN HARMONY WITH NATURE 13.03.2024

As part of the "How the World Works" unit, our 3rd-grade students made discoveries by reading stories and books about weather events, countries, and unusual houses. Then, they designed their own houses by considering the climatic conditions. During this process, we hosted the esteemed architect Dürrin Ulema at our school. Thanks to the presentation delivered by Ms. Ulema, our students learned about designing houses in harmony with nature and the conditions to be considered when building a house. It was a great pleasure for our students to share their own projects with Ms. Dürrin and receive feedback from her.
