AN INTERVIEW WITH HABIB BEKTAS 06.03.2019

Our Grade 6 students met with Habib Bektas, who is the author of the book they read in their Turkish lessons, and had an enjoyable conversation with the author of the book “Uzun Lafın Kısası”. During the meeting, they discussed the importance of idioms in Turkish, the validity of idioms in a rapid-changing world and the contribution of conventional sayings to the language. After getting answers to their questions and talking about the qualities of our language, our students had their books signed by the author.
