INTERDISCIPLINARY VISIT TO THE EXHIBITION “GAVUR MAHALLESI” 13.03.2023

Grade 10 students visited Ahmet Gunestekin’s exhibition “Gavur Mahallesi” as part of their interdisciplinary activity in collaboration with Arts and Turkish Language and Literature classes. Our students analyzed tradition in modernity by looking at literary works during their Turkish Language and Literature lessons after getting inspiration from “Shahmaran’s Legs” written by Murathan Mungan. By visiting the exhibition, they got the chance to see how legends and sagas enrich modern art through multidimensional pictures and objects.
