A VISIT TO ADEN NURSING HOME 18.05.2022

As part of their Service & Action Project, our Grade 10 students wrote their feelings about the sacrifices of healthcare professionals during the pandemic in a book and sent the book as a gift to them with inspiration from the concept of “hero” in Nazım Hikmet’s “Kuvayi Milliye Destanı”, which they read in their Turkish lessons. Also, they donated a novel they had read before to Aden Nursing Home by adding personal notes to make the people living there happy. Due to the pandemic, they sent their blessings through a video they recorded and their gifts through their Turkish teachers Rukiye Seryanoğlu, Mehtap Alkaya and Nazım Başaran to the healthcare professionals and the people living in the nursing home.
