8TH GRADE TRIP TO KEMERALTI 22.02.2017

On Wednesday Feb.22, grade 8 students had a full day trip to Kemeraltı, exploring historical sites along with their stories such as the first bullet by Hasan Tahsin, the foundation of Kuvayi Milliye (Turkish National Forces) and the failed attempt to assassinate Atatürk. Students enjoyed learning interesting facts about the National Library, the Izmir Clock Tower, the Elhamra Opera House, the Kızlarağası Han and the Hisar Mosque and they started writing in their journals about the trip right away.
