PHILOSOPHICAL ESSAY CONTEST “THINK & WRITE” 22.05.2024

Our students Gül Gürelli, Elif Köklüce, Ecrin Çakaloğlu, Bartu Aslan, and Melissa Lal Erkal successfully represented our school in the first and second stages of the National Philosophy Competition organized by the Izmir Branch of the Philosophers’ Association. We congratulate our students Bartu Aslan and Melissa Lal Erkal, who won two of the top 25 places in Turkey with their outstanding performance in the first two online stages, and we wish them continued success in the final stage to be held at ACI on Saturday, June 1. The 10th “Think & Write” Philosophical Essay Contest aims to enable HS students to think about the basic problems of philosophy, to gain the ability to read, understand and interpret, to think coherently, to justify what they think, to write in a philosophical language using philosophical concepts, and to use philosophy to make sense of life.
