PARENT EFFECTIVENESS TRAINING COMPLETED 19.12.2017

December 27, Wednesday was the last session of the Parent Effectiveness Training (PET) which started on December 6 and continued for four weeks. The training was given by school counselling coordinator Ms. Gülin Memiş who is certified PET trainer. The participating parents explored the theory and practices of many communication skills such as active listening, conflict resolution which help build a better parent-child relationship. After the final session the 20 parents who attended the seminar received their certificates and had a small party. We hope the training will help parents use their new skills to overcome any conflicts with their children.
