A PATH FROM HEART TO HEART: LET’S BE HAPPY PROJECT 31.12.2025

At Işıkkent Primary School, we value not only our students’ academic development but also their growth as empathetic, caring, and sharing individuals. With this understanding, we carried out a meaningful social responsibility activity with our 1st, 3rd, and 4th grade students as part of the Let’s Be Happy Project. For children who had to welcome the New Year in a hospital rather than at home, our students prepared New Year cards with their own hands under the guidance of their teachers. These cards, created with great care and love, will be delivered to children receiving treatment in hospitals during the New Year week. Through this activity, our students aimed to: develop empathy toward peers living under different circumstances, realize how even a small act of kindness can create meaningful happiness in others’ lives, learn the values of social solidarity and sharing through experience. The Let’s Be Happy Project is an exemplary initiative that contributes to our students’ social and emotional development and forms an important part of values education. We would like to thank all our students who took part in this meaningful project and the teachers who supported them, and we wish everyone a healthy and hopeful year in which happiness grows as it is shared.
