11TH GRADE ECOLOGICAL FIELD TRIP WITH OUR STUDENTS IN YAKAKÖY 14.05.2025

Our 11th grade students taking DP Environmental Systems and Societies (ESS) and MEB Biology courses, accompanied by their teachers, went on an ecological field trip to Yakaköy. The trip started with water content measurements and continued with the observation of different ecosystems and species during the trail walk. Our students also had the opportunity to take a population census at the Medicinal Plants Research Land of Bornova Municipality and to get to know the wild plants collected by local people. With this field trip, our students both reinforced their theoretical knowledge in nature and gained experience in on-site observation and analysis of environmental systems.
