We are excited to come together as the entire Işıkkent community to celebrate the opening of our 18th Traditional Işıkkent End-of-Year Art Exhibition. This special exhibition features original works created by students from Kindergarten through High School, reflecting the knowledge, skills, and artistic development they have cultivated throughout the year. The exhibition includes selected pieces produced within the Holistic Development Programs, Visual Arts, and Design & Technology courses. Theme: “The Power of Narrative: Fairy Tales and Mythology” This year, our students explored a variety of surfaces and materials, drawing inspiration from the rich narrative world of fairy tales and mythology, and expressing their unique and personal artistic voices with strength and creativity. We warmly invite you to experience these works, which reflect the transformative power of art, and to be part of this meaningful journey. On this special occasion, the name of our esteemed founding figure, the late Mr. Öner Akgerman—whose vision and contributions have left a lasting mark on our institution—will be given to our Arts Center. It would be our great pleasure and honor to welcome you both to the Art Center Naming Ceremony and our End-of-Year Art Exhibition.
